songwrite2018 is the third national UCA gathering for writers of songs for Christian Tanya Riches 1community worship. Special guest: Tanya Riches.

songwrite is an opportunity to write new songs for worship. Whether you are a first-time songwriter or have written some songs, you will have creative space, people to listen and learn from, and the opportunity to score and record your songs.

some songwrite2018 basics:

  • 12 pm Friday 26 to 2 pm Sunday 28 January 2018
  • Indooroopilly Uniting Church, Station Rd, Indooroopilly, Brisbane, Australia.  The venue is directly across from the huge Indooroopilly Shopping Centre complex and a 200m walk from Indooroopilly Train Station
  • Cost: $150
    • includes Saturday and Sunday lunch.  Friday lunch & Saturday dinner extra
    • accommodation and transport extra

I am Minister of the Word in the Uniting Church in Australia - with a background in children’s youth and family ministry. I recently served with Southside Uniting Church, including as community minister at Tarragindi, Brisbane, Australia. Since March 2021, I am in retirement, but hopefully not completely idle ... looking forward to delving into many life, ministry and travel passions. I am married to Dale who for many years has shared in ministry with me, especially with music, children and young adults. We have three boys - Joel, Jeremy and Nathan - who all share our love of music. For some years I served as a member of the Uniting Church in Australia’s National Working Group on Worship. Since July 2018 I am a member of the church's national Transforming Worship Panel. Oh ... with Dale, I love to travel!!
